ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL LEVEL

Since the very beginning of it’s activity Microfond Bresciana decided to create an internal Tooling design and manufacturing department.
Therefore the Company has equipped a CAD-CAM station, which uses the most advanced software for 3D shaping and tool path elaboration; this ensures that all tools are designed internally.
The tool shop is equipped with machines ( CNC machine, lathe, spark erosion etc…) that enable the manufacturing also of the most complex tooling.

This choice has shown to be successful during the years, for several reasons:
- time to market reduction, from customer order to first samples
- tooling cost reduction
- internal know-how linked to serial production
- held down of lead time on tool modifications, on customer demand
- better care and precision of the tools
- self-sufficiency from lead time imposed from external tool shops.
